Florence Aquatic Center – Florence, KY

We took the kids to the Florence Aquatic Center in Florence, KY. It was a great way to spend a hot day. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to share because I haven’t bought a waterproof camera yet. I think I’ll have to eventually, especially if I get my way and move near the beach soon! The admission to water parks and even city pools can be very high! This place is a little way outside of Cincinnati (about 20 minutes) but it’s a great deal!

There is a large kiddy pool with slides for the wee ones. It connects through water hallways to a deeper pool. Half of this is roped off for diving off the two diving boards. There are two large slides but one was closed when we were there. There’s an area with sprayers and buckets that dump water. There’s also a slide there that is like a slipnslide style. My favorite part was the lazy river. I love floating along. It’s super relaxing!

We ate lunch there. The prices are a little high but not amusement park crazy. You could go out to eat. There are tons of  restaurants around this area. You can get your hand stamped and come back in. If you happen to be in or near Florence, KY, I suggest stopping off here for a day of affordable fun!

Cost- $10 for adults, $7 for kids. There’s a discount for people who live in Florence too.

1 month and 20 days without cable!
