A Short Guide to a Happy Life By: Anna Quindlen

This is a truly amazing little book. It will make you think and touch your heart.

“I learned to love the journey, not the destination. I learned that this is not a dress rehearsal, and that today is the only guarantee you get.” (Quote from “A Short Guide to a Happy Life.”)

  1. Thanks for the recommendation! I hate to admit it, but I haven’t read anything by her since “Black and Blue” first came out. I liked that book, even though it did strike a chord or two with my reality at the time. This sounds great from the quote you provided, especially given my current “journey” situation. 🙂

    • It is very short and sweet. I’m on a first name basis with the local librarian and she said I would love it. I did and I think you will too! The end brought a tear to my eye. Perfect bedtime story for grown-ups. Enjoy 🙂
