Community Night Out

Yesterday we went to a community night out. They had local city vehicles for the kids to check out, food, drinks, glitter tattoos, face painting, somebody dressed up as a giant cookie, and various goodies. The best part it was all completely free! The girls had a blast checking out the different vehicles, pushing buttons, honking horns, and finding out what they did.

Ivy was so excited to go up!

She also got to drive the camera they send in to storm drains and things. She said it was really fun, like a video game but real. The kids ate so much pizza and goodies that dinner would have been pointless so my kitchen got the night off too. It was a lot of fun and a much better way to spend the evening then watching TV.

Day 1 without cable!
